Operation:
– holding: the metal object is held in place on contact with the electromagnet, which is fitted on a fixed element.
– release: ”no voltage” models – the metal object is freed from the electromagnet contact when the power supply is cut

”current emission” models – the metal object is freed from the electromagnet contact when the power is on

Applications: industrial automation and fire safety (locking fire doors, opening smoke extraction dampers, closing ventilation flaps or dampers, etc.)
