The 14CE series of limit switches from Honeywell form part of their miniature limit switches range. This series is compact, precise and highly versatile. • 14CE limit switches are constructed with diecast zinc housing. Each unit within the 14CE series incorporates a fluorocarbon sealing diaphragm that offers protection and enhances reliability. An epoxy sealant has also been used to encapsulate the cable, connector and switch. The factory sealing and sealant protects the integrity of the limit switch and you can trust this limit switch to perform consistently and accurately within the most rugged environments. They will function as expected in environments where petrol, water based or synthetic fluids are present.

Enclosures that meet the NEMA 6P requirement also offer protection against water when being submerged at a limited depth.
Type 13: Enclosures that meet Type 13 are suited to harsh environments. Enclosures can be used indoors and provide protection against access to hazardous parts. They offer protection against solid objects such as falling dirt, windblown dirt, fibres and lint. They provide a level of protection from dripping and splashing water and other liquids such as the splashing, seepage and spraying of oil and non-corrosive coolants.

14CE limit switches are not emergency stop devices or safety devices. They must not be used in devices, applications and environments where injury can incur as a result of product failure.
